Several Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) bus lines and light rail serve Silicon Valley’s two major convention centers. Those centers are the Santa Clara Convention Center in northern Santa Clara, and the McEnery Convention Center in downtown San Jose.

San Jose McEnery Convention Center
The San Jose McEnery Convention Center is in front of VTA’s Convention Center light rail station. That station is served by the Green Line (Old Ironsides-Winchester) and Blue Line (Baypointe-Santa Teresa). The Convention Center is located at 150 West San Carlos Street in downtown San Jose.
San Jose McEnery Convention Center is also served by VTA’s 23 local bus line and the 523 Rapid bus line.
Santa Clara Convention Center
The Santa Clara Convention Center is located at 5001 Great America Parkway in northern Santa Clara. The Convention Center is also across Tasman Drive from California’s Great America theme park and Levi’s Stadium. Therefore, the same transit directions for the Convention Center and the Stadium can also be used for the theme park.
It’s a two block walk east from the end of VTA’s 55, 57, and 59 bus lines Old Ironsides and Tasman. The Santa Clara Convention Center is also in front the Great America light rail station. That station is served by the Orange Line (Mountain View-Alum Rock) and Green Line (Old Ironsides-Winchester).
