Public Transit Travel Hints
The VTA’s Mountain View-Winchester light rail line (Green Line) links the two main venues for All-Star Weekend – Convention Center (Fan Fair) and San Fernando (5 minute walk to SAP Center). The same light rail line is also a short walk from many hotels like the Fairmont and De Anza in downtown San Jose. The same light rail line also serves hotels and motels along “Hotel Row” on N. 1st Street in San Jose.
Staying in a hotel or motel along The Alameda and El Camino Real, VTA’s 22 local or 522 Rapid bus is your direct ride to SAP Center. Take the same 522 Rapid bus to N. 1st and Santa Clara, and walk a few blocks south to McEnery Convention Center for the Fan Fair and related events.
Especially if you are visiting from out of town, make sure to follow these tips for staying safe when riding any bus or train. While you’re at it, learn about local public transit etiquette so you make a good impression upon others when riding public transit here.

The Convention Center is served by VTA light rail, the 23 local, and 323 limited stop bus lines. Read more details in our public transit guide for McEnery Convention Center.
