San Jose Diridon Integrated Station Concept Plan

San Jose Diridon Integrated Station Concept Plan

June 10, 2019

6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for the third Community Meeting on the Diridon Integrated Station Concept Plan! This is a joint planning effort by the California High-Speed Rail Authority, Caltrain, City of San José, and VTA (the Partner Agencies) to expand and redesign the station for existing and future transit services. The Partner Agencies anticipate completing Phase 1 of the Concept Plan process in Fall 2019. Phase 1 will result in a Draft Vision for the station.

At this meeting, you will:

  • Learn about progress completed to date on the Diridon Integrated Station Concept Plan

  • Hear about three possible layouts for the future station

  • Provide feedback to help inform the Draft Vision

  • Ask questions and chat with project staff

The presentation will be similar to the one given at the City’s Station Area Advisory Group (SAAG) meeting held on May 22, 2019. Click here to see the video, and visit the SAAG page for the slides.

We will offer live interpretation in Spanish and Vietnamese, light refreshments, and supervised activities for children (age 3+). Families welcome!

Another meeting covering the same topics will be held in Spanish. This meeting is being scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 at 6:00 pm (location TBD). Check back soon for more info!

The Partner Agencies will summarize the community input received at the meetings, post it online, and consider the input when preparing the Draft Vision.

Gardner Community Center is 1.5 blocks east (3 minute walk) from the VTA's 64 bus line stop at Bird and Virginia.  It's also 4 blocks west of the VTA's Virginia light rail station.
